That's what I'm talking about.

NorCalZman 12-25-2008 11:43 AM

hmmm this is a toughy....The brilliant silver is to light for me, and this might be to dark. Ill wait till I see both in person to decide, or maybe Ill get lucky and in a year or two Nissan will add a inbetween silver.

:)

Crash 12-26-2008 06:44 PM

Yeah... If they offered flat/matte black, I'd get that instead of white.

shumby 12-26-2008 06:45 PM

any black is better than white

Crash 12-26-2008 07:21 PM

Somehow I saw that coming.

shumby 12-26-2008 07:23 PM

^^^ what is it that obvious?

Crash 12-26-2008 07:24 PM

I like flat or matte black. That's for sure. I was going paint my TA that color.

o0javi0o 12-26-2008 11:45 PM

Yep. I was thinking that too for my 350.
But I didnt find any black matte paint number or some information for this color. I am sure that I am the problem, because I know this color is popular to make customs.
I was trying to look for a black matte, but pearled. just like the color of that M.Mclaren.

Do you guys know any paint number, identification or something for that specific color?

True to shumby, Black looks nice, but white, imo, looks more fine, black looks very aggressive which is a big big plus for any sport car and it looks sick when body kits are done. But white looks, for me, clean and fine.
For sure if I see black matte as an option, I will go for it no matter if the option cost $1.5K..

Black Matte!!!!

Lexus's smokey granite mica? My mom has the IS in that color and it looks really good. I like the Porsche seal gray. It has a rich deep luster to it.

zhound 01-02-2009 07:33 AM

Does anyone have any more pics of the Permission interior and the PG exterior? Most pics I can tell it has the orange seats but not well enough to see how it goes with the entire car.

Maynard 01-02-2009 10:45 AM

I WAS on the fence between the Silver and Platinum Graphite, but now I'm pretty sure I want the Platinum. Those pictures are just sick! I'm not sure if seeing it person will change my mind.

Every Nissan/Infiniti I've owned has been that titanium/sonic silver/diamond grapihte/platinum silver color. I have an infiniti that's 10 years old and the titanium color paint looks incredible. People at the carwash can't believe its a decade old car b/c the paint is still lustrous. IMO this color is the perfect one b/c it looks great and is low maintenance.

I really should get the PG just for that reason. I have a LeMans Sunset 350Z right now and I'm spoiled by how nice it looks even when it's dirty. I don't have the time or patience to maintain a black car, but they look so good! LOL
