Want to see in person. I guess this depends on camera used to snap a pic but the subtle hue variations change the color from awesome:

I ordered my Z in PG, unseen :) I'm scared and excited to see it in person!

^^ Same here. I ordered my PG w/o seeing it in person. I only say CY and PW. I'm sure it'll look really nice. Every color has its good and bad shots. It's all on lighting and type of camera.

For instance, I was't so sure about CY because not every shot looked as good as the other but when I saw it in person I was like WOW. I would have ordered it, but it's not an everyday color for me.

I just can't get enough of Platinum Graphite. I know its the primarily marketed color but you can't deny that it looks just that good.

I think that looks great! Also, I ordered my Z without ever seeing the PG in person. For me, it was the way the darker grey looks with the Persimmon interior that got me. Classy.

That is a very grainy and poorly exposed pic. Compare the taillights and wheels between the two pics. In the first one both are very sharp and have nice colors. In the second, not so. Same thing with the outside. Pics up a lot of noise and is a poor quality pic.

That's a great shot, although not a US Spec Z.

There's one at my local dealer in that color. You won't be disappointed. It's nice.

LOL, I used to love to detail my car. Now with a house, wife, and three kids...there's no time for that.

What all did you get with it?

I order mine like yours as far as I can tell from the outside. I also got the kick plates, floor/trunk matts.

I love how in certain angles, the sun transforms the color from a greyish tone to an almost blinding silver like in the above picture. It's like you almost need to put on some sunglasses just to look at it.

PG is awesome. Always changing on you. I have about everything on it and loving every minute in it.

You should see it in higher resolution versus the scaled down one here. I plan on putting a couple of pics on a hosting site to show them at high res.

Crazy reflections. Check out my album I have some ranging from almost looking bright silver to ones that look pinkish in the sunset.

As for the panel saying Carbon Silver, I think your dealer simply used 350Z template.

Carbon Silver is what they are calling Platinum Graphite in Canada.

Don't you guys think PG is too close to silver? I showed 10 people a picture of a PG Z (not showing them a Silver Z), and 9 out of 10 said it was Silver colored. Due to these circumstances, unless Nissan gets rid of PG and comes with a darker Grey, I will be going with White.

When you see them together, the silver is actually closer to white. The PG is not super dark, but definitely not silver. I have an Armada LE in Dark Grey and a Mini Cooper S in sparkling Grey and they are just a bit darker then the PG.
The great thing about the PG is it's really great for not showing the dust and dirt, the darker grey colors show more dirt when they get closer to black.

I love the first pic. Thanks for updating the thread. I recommend all PG owners to post your car in this thread because people actually browse these threads before buying their own car.

:iagree: My fiancee loves this color, but I need more convincing on my part. I saw black and PG parked next to each other, at the dealership, and I immediately picked the black one for test drive.

IMO the black does not show the lines of the car, and the metallic in the paint just make the car look dull and not brilliant, almost like there is a haze or dust on it all the time. I think a solid gloss black would have been better.

Platinum Graphite and the Z is perfect combo
 

I just got my PG, 6M Touring with Sport and Nav last Thursday!

Having owned a Titanium Cayenne S and a Flint Mica Lexus GS and a bunch of Silver cars, IMO, the Platinum Graphite on the 370Z is the Hottest color of any car I've ever owned!

I passed up on an identically configured silver Z close to my house to get my Platinum Graphite Z over an hour away.

I also agree that the PG compliments the curves on the Z better than any other color.

God damn you guys for making my decision between White and Platinum so much harder :shakes head:
