Well, I had a World Rally Blue Subaru WRX for 7 years. I didn't get tired of the color, and it was pretty easy to keep clean. The color looked good when dirty, but excellent when clean. I know it's not the same car, but the color is similar, maybe just a shade darker.

I ended up buying a PG 370Z, since I did not want another blue car. My thought was that the blue would stand out and the PG is a less flashy color. Anyway, here's my humble contribution to this thread:

Still really torn about the colors, lol. I do like the "flashy" aspect of the MB, since this car is meant to stand out, but at the same time I feel the PG looks "richer". It's a tradeoff that I'm not sure which direction I want to go.

Can't go wrong with either pic those. 2 color were my pic also but I decided to take pg cause black is hard to maintain clean

anyone with the fangs painted black in our color?

OK, here's mine:

Minicobra1 did it, do a search for black fangs and you'll find his thread. I'll be painting mine this weekend :-). I bought satin black paint to do it last weekend, but I tried it on a piece of plastic and it was too shiny. So I'll get flat black instead, as per Minocobra's thread.

I will post pictures when I'm done.

Its actually Duplicolor DE 1634 Low Gloss Black engine enamel.

Incoming pictures this weekend...matte black fangs, roof, rear valence, and headlights!

If it comes out well I might just do the whole car! I'm going with the matte because its not flat, its actually a satin style, and it has a low gloss which gives that awesome look when a car is properly done.

are you going to take the headlights apart or is it just an overlay?

The Satin black is definitly settling down, was alot more glossy when it came out of the shop...it looks gorgeous now. Will get some rolling shots + possible updated video tomorrow.

I agree, black like my old 350 or pg are the only two colors that work for me. I still really like black the best but after it's a few years old it's so hard to keep the little scratches buffed out it's just too much work for me. I also liked the Burnt Orange, now Persimmon, seats in my old Z better but they didn't age very well. So I went black inside this time.

DannyGT - love the smoked headlight covers. I don't know if i missed it somewhere but I would also like to know if its an overlay or take them apart.

Also if anyone knows the legal issues that can or may occur with smoked headlight covers.

Yes, at least in NJ its the law...There needs to be some sort of orange or reflectors at the corner of the lights/corner panel. But, oh well! :)

That whole swoosh part + anything orange was painted the color of the car.

It looks like a majority of the folks have the sport package. I like everything about the sport package except the rear wing. I really think the wing takes away more than it adds. To each his own as either way looks good, but wingless gives it a porschesque kinda look to me. But then what do I know, I drive a Titan? (for now)
