From someone who has shot for magazines... Don't hold your breath on that. Keep it as a hobby; you'll have a lot more fun!

The 1st shot is a bit cool in terms of color temp. The others look pretty good.

I don't know whether that should be taken as an insult to my ability, or as advise that going pro loses it fun-ness!

Nah... your ability is great But doing something professionally takes the "hobby" out of it. And therefore some of the fun too.

I'd say the 1st shot is perfecto... however careful when shooting white as some of the highlights are blown out it seems in the other shots.

Thanks! I find that when using the flashes versus ambient lighting, the flash shots don't show the details in body lines because the extra light kills shadows that make the curves apparent. Does that make any sense?
