few more pics!

jazz 12-03-2011 01:29 PM

also getting the centers of the bumpers painted out black. they were in the paint room, could'nt get in there.

LakeShow 12-03-2011 07:02 PM

Wow man that's serious. I don't like how they left the cabin uncovered and I can see some dust and stuff build up on the seats and engine bay is exposed. That's just me, I'm very anal about stuff like that. It appears that is some type of Nissan shop because all the pics you posted had Nissans in them. Maybe coincidence?

jazz 12-03-2011 09:09 PM

They had just done that...I said the same thing! They also said ghey will clean it up...and if I'm not happy they will keep cleaning it lol. It will be fine. I hope!

stephsparkles 12-04-2011 09:43 PM

Kenny - gorgeous pics! I just got the 2012 Nismo in GM...such a smokin' color!

Nice Jazz looks like its coming out really well so far. Color looks spot on but will need to be compared to previous photos. Is your rear diffuser black or not finished yet?

jazz 12-06-2011 07:17 AM

it is black! also did the front.

LakeShow 12-07-2011 10:29 PM

Looks good. Can't wait to see finished product.

jazz 12-08-2011 07:12 AM

nor can i!!!!

LakeShow 12-08-2011 02:11 PM

I'm in bad shape right now. I just spoke to a stupid Nissan rep and was telling me Nissan might not fund your paint job or even offer it, no way offer you a new car, orno way buy your car back. I'm lost for words. Car is 4 weeks old 1,200 miles on the clock. This is insane. Going to wait a couple weeks and if has to come to getting lawyers involved so be it.

jazz 12-09-2011 09:48 AM

wow!! i had zero issues...they paid up front for the paint($10 000) PLUS PAYED ME OFF!

That sucks! They definitely should have told you that before they started working on it.

LakeShow 12-27-2011 01:23 AM

Pics looks great mate. GM is the best color in any condition. ^^Hey jazz your car got finished up or your still waiting?

jazz 12-27-2011 07:04 AM

still waiting...3m and rust spray. no rush, cant drive it until the summer.

SiRay6 12-28-2011 03:12 PM

Thanks...they are straight from my camera. But I love all those insane photos I see from people that look so artistic.

I'm loving the color...I almost got a different color because i couldn't find any 2012's in GM, but I got lucky. So glad I didn't go with a second or third choice color, because I would have regretted it everyday :P

More pictures please!

Thanks, my photos are plain and I'm not being modest.

I really want to lower it, but I scrape the chin spoiler all the time...I have lowered every single car I have ever owned and it is killing me to not lower this one, but on the other hand...I really enjoy the stock ride. Tough decision

agreed bro. i really love the looks of this car lowered but its just gonna be a pain since i already scrape enough as it is. ive been contemplating whether to lower it or not for a few months now. still haven't made up my mind yett

Try lowering, adding a Nismo nose, and having a low spot where the driveway meets the street! I'm scraping the crap out of the car every time I pull out the driveway, but it's more noise than anything else.

All that being said, it's worth it. The car looks so much better lowered an inch.

Happy New Year all! :hello:

definitely. but the thing is i don't know if i can still get into my garage after lowering it. might have to park it outside and let my other car in. :rofl2:

here's what my driveway looks like (stock height):

btw what are you lowered on?

gurneyeagle 01-02-2012 07:42 PM

Holy Crap! How much clearance do you have with that lip? How do you drive on the street now? Any lower and you'll be peeling-up the paving.

I dropped an inch in front with my Tanabe springs.

that's my driveway into the garage :icon17: clearance into my garage i probably have about ~1inch. streetwise I have about 3-4inches i believe.

jazz 01-03-2012 11:18 AM
