true.. ultra dangerous. i was there for 4 months in 2005 for work and was supposed to get a drivers license but i said hell no. they drive way too crazy.... the lanes in the road are just suggestions.. its nothing to have 6 lanes of cars on a 3 lane road. people will bust a u-turn wherever they feel like it. fear for your life if you are a pedestrian... you're only safe crossing the street with a sizeable mob. bus drivers and cab drivers rarely stop at stop signs.. thats cool though because you get where you're going faster.

other than the drivers and the exotic toilets, Korea was a great place. i'd love to go back again some day when it's not for work.

Everytime I took the bus from Camp Red Cloud down to Seoul, the bus driver would RARELY ever stop for stop lights, he might slow down a little but in most case he just kept barreling through the light. Probably the most memorable incident was when 2 scooters - each holding over 4 people on each one - smacked into each other ... people flew in all kinds of directions.

Korea is okay. The drivers in korea dont give a **** about the pedestrians. Almost got hit a couple of times. I would bitch at the driver and he would bitch back. Even though there arent many cops, there are many cameras around the place.

This is only for korean dealer option. You can't use korean spec navi in US.

I'm betting you were someplace up near Incheon?...I know you certainly weren't on #1 headed south from Seoul -- everytime I'm on that road, we seem to be about 50Kph unless I'm in a bus in the bus lane...
