Just for FUN..

I got rid of speed limit.. and reached at 278km/h ( GPS )

RedComet 12-16-2009 06:42 AM

I dream of driving on the Wangan but I wouldn't have the guts to do anything like that in the states. Just wouldn't seem as fun. Judging by the text, you're in Korea I'd say, right? Pretty dope stuff man, I enjoyed the video even though it might get banned.

NYBladeZ 12-16-2009 07:46 AM

nice video, how did you remove the speed limiter?

YamahaR6 12-16-2009 07:53 AM

How did you get the speedometer on the GPS?

Glad you weren't in Britain!

276 kph Porsche Driver Jailed

Monday, September 24, 2007 | Labels: News | | #fullpost{display:inline;} 276kph is just the speed needed to break UK fastest speeding offence.

LONDON, England (AP) -- A rental car worker who was clocked at 276 kph (172 mph) in his company's Porsche was ordered jailed Monday for 10 weeks.

Tim Brady arrives at Oxford Crown Court on Monday to hear the verdict.

Tim Brady, 33, who was caught January 27, became the fastest speeder ever convicted in Britain. He beat the previous record -- 251 kph -- set by car dealer Jason McAllister in 2003.

Brady was caught driving the $198,000 Porsche 911 Turbo, which he took from his employer, luxury car rental firm HelpHire, authorities said.

Brady had nagged his boss to take the Porsche out the day before, but was repeatedly told no, authorities said.

Judge David Morton called the act "criminally self-indulgent."

"[You were] utterly thoughtless of the danger you might be creating for the innocent," he told Brady.

Brady, who admitted to dangerous driving, was banned from driving for three years and will have to take a new driving test before taking to the road again.

He quit his job a day after he was caught

Decent production for a home video. So approximately 170mph .. not bad. What part of Korea was that, I couldn't catch any of the signs. Seoul?

corner3garage 12-16-2009 06:53 PM

that is very fast, funny intro in the video though.

I live in seoul..
In korea, dealers fit the korean navi system to 370Z.
I also got the limit canceler. :driving:

This is my power tuning list.

1. ITG drop in air cleaner
2. Central 20 ( Z sport ) metal catalyzer ( 150 cel )
3. ARQRAY exhaust ( titan tail )

This is the top speed of 7speed on the lift..
Of course.. we need a lot of power to get this speed on the road..

So what is the wan rate these days? Back in the 90's we could make some decent change on playing the market .. ha .. miss those dayz at Camp Essayons.

Red370 12-18-2009 02:25 AM

haha, korea doesnt have speed limits, they have speed suggestions, same as red lights, dont gotta stop, but you "should", spent 3 years there, loved it. Lived in Songtan for a bit just outside of Osan city, great place. Miss the kimchi. I like how they dont really have traffic police either, they have stationary police lights that are made to look like cruisers, its hilarious.

bullitt5897 12-18-2009 10:14 AM

I want that display interface!!!! but in english lol

hmmmm I might have to use some work resources and make some programs for us Z drivers.... ;)

370Zsteve 12-18-2009 10:19 AM

You don't "have" to stop for a red light in Korea? :icon14:
