Oh I've had it a few times. I left my house once on my bike and ripped through 1st to redline (15,500 RPM about 70MPH) and sure as **** the a sherif was running radar in my neighborhood. My bike was so loud he turned around (was leaned over his hood gunning from a driveway), walked into the street, got me, and flagged me over. He only got me doing 55 in a 30 but damn that sucked. No speeding ticket though!

Pretty funny. Although what was the point of the GTR having a radar detector....didnt really detect anything until it was to late. Here in Edmonton its legal to have them but i never seen the need for that reason.

The guy's friend turned the radar gun on when it was literally up his GTR's a$$. How would the detector give any advance warning? A more realistic situation (and the 'right' way to use a detector) is to be driving with traffic on the road ahead of you. That way a cop shoots a car ahead, sets off your detector, and you get forewarning of the cop's presence. My family describes the guinea pig driver up ahead as 'running interference'.

Guy A is in a car secretly with a radar gun.
Guy B is in a high hp GTR with a radar detector.
Guy A calls Guy B and says let me video you doing a flyby from about 120 mph.
Guy B says cool and bursts around Guy A.
Guy A hits the radar gun thereby giving Guy B a heart attack.
Everyone on the internet who gets it laughs.
Everyone else says stuff like, "That's not a cop car."

It's brilliantly funny until Guy B brakes so abruptly that he loses control, skids off the road, and destroys his GTR in the name of a joke. I was cringing hoping that wasn't the ending.

Funny stuff. I love the reaction from in the GTR.

On the other hand, andI hate to be the party pooper, but 160 on public roads is just asinine. It's funny stuff until someone get's seriously injured.
