Pop up Engine Hood indicator

so no easy way to get rid of this light ...probably i will have to take it to nearest nissan service

Define "easy."

Doesn't get much easier than plugging in a scanner and pushing a few buttons.

Pulling the trim panel can be slightly difficult the first time you do it but is really pretty easy once you figure out you have to pull up on the bumper cover and lift the front of the panel to get it out. No screws or bolts, just the 13 body rivets (if you have strong fingernails, you don't even need any tools).

With the VOM, you are looking for open/close transitions and not some particular value.

Thats too easy leave the friggin light on.
