My 6th gear synchro was failing and I had the whole transmission replaced under warranty. This is most likely your problem, they should take care of it for you. I

My 6th gear synchro was failing and I had the whole transmission replaced under warranty. This is most likely your problem, they should take care of it for you.
I had one tech blame it on shifting from 4th to 6th since it was more prevalent in that situation, but it shouldn't grind regardless. I pushed the issue with someone that actually could make decisions and it was handled. Took about a week.
