Cars that are bought back from the factory under the Lemon Law are not resold... the vehicle will have a branded title and can't be sold under normal circumstances.
It is a vigorous process in which the factory will do this...the vehicle has to be in the shop for a consecutive 30 days under the same issue. It also will involve the severity of the issue...mainly safety related that will cause an exception to the rule. If there is a buzz in the radio for instance... they have tech lines from dealer to factory to diagnose the issue, the factory maintains history on issues and will share with dealers if there is remedy. If its an ongoing issue...a recall or service bulletin will be issued. |
