Some Hindu-Brit car enthusiast who is well respected was bought in order to hype up the car. He drove a used Porsche Cayman, a Z and an FR-S He bashed the Z and called the FR-S an equal match for the Cayman. He posted this on you tube before his CRACK HIGH could come down... Now delusional toyobaru owners go on chronic anti-z rants based on hindu guys bias review and Toyota's mind-numbing advertising tactics.

Toyobaru's are getting Azz raped all over America by Z's. We out-accelerate them, we out-handle them, we out-grip them and completely and totally outclass them on every possible level.

The ONLY advantage the twins have is the feel slightly more direct behind the wheel. It's fvckin torqueless... what do you expect? Lol.
It's time for us to stop letting corporations and their slaves tell us what's good and we need to judge for ourselves. With our own independent minds and raw facts. Fact is the Z is a 1g, low 13 second powerhouse with thorobred roots.

The GT86 crowed hang on to that guy's every word. He was very bias and one sided, at one point he stated that the 370z falls flat over 5000 rpm. I did some research into dyno charts and there was no dip at 5000 rpm, in fact the 370z has a nice linear power band where as the GT86 often has a power dip.

It seems as if he had no real arguments (performance wise) against the Z so he resorted to making things up, that or he convinced himself that the 370z really was a POS. It also did not help the Z considering it had bald tires, something like this will very much effect how a car grips, turns and breaks.

His main selling point with the GT86 was that it slides easily and that it is fun. I'm sorry but sliding around easily does not equate to a faster car or a better handling car. I think i would respected him more if he just flat out said he just likes the GT86 more but that it is not necessarily a better performance vehicle or even a performance vehicle at all.

Basicly the only thing the toyubaru has one us is weight and steering feedback.

Of the two you mentioned, the FRS would only have us on weight. Steering feedback on the Z is very good when compared to the FRS. Having a FRS and a Z in my driveway, I'm speaking with first hand knowledge. You can see page 3 of this thread for my quick review of the FRS.

I find the z steering somewhat numb, and I've driven a handful of fr-s's brz's none were stock they all had at least Coilovers and bigger wheels/tires. I felt the steering was better not a lot better but I felt the road a lot more.

Numb? Under aggressive driving? The Z is overboosted under 45mph. But the faster you go the snappier it gets. It remains direct once aggressive driving begins. But if you turn the car on and drive normal. The electonics will be working overtime on the steering through and through to give you smooth sedan feel. Aggressive driving. Hydraulics take over.

Well here I'll put it this way. My z31 300zx I can feel every rock crack in the road. I can tell exactly what my front end is doing at all times from my steering wheel. In the 370z I can not, I am not saying it is bad at all I'm just saying I personally find it dull not very communicative.

Compared to back then. electronics play a bigger part. I feel u. My rx felt more direct as well. But for current times Z is well done.

Agree also. I would rather have it in such a way that the road, car and myself communicate as "one". I enjoy the car this way... Plus I feel safer!

Update. I was just cut off by a Dodge Challenger on the freeway the other day. I was in the no. 2 lane and this fool just merged on the freeway and he actually swept over 3 lanes just to cut me off! I was actually flattered that I ruffled his feathers. There was light traffic and this fool was pacing me waiting for me to gun it in this light traffic. So I laughed, looked at him and gave him the thumbs down and he decided to let off. It was funny.

ps. And I've had 1 or 2 toyobaru's rev their motor on me when they saw my Z. Neither of these events were disrespect IMO, I was flattered!

Should have called him in for reckless driving. One guy did the same thing to me. If i would have not braked he would have barreled into my car with a giant SUV, and the car next to me would have likely smashed into my car too.

People that hop lanes like that have to be under the influence of something, normal people just don't drive like that, unless they are total D-bags.
