Thats true.. But he paid another company that was separate from the deralership. Filing a chargeback with them wont do anything.. Not the places fault that he ordered the fab from that the dealership screwed him.

uhhhh.... he's the consumer. doesnt matter who didnt keep their end of the deal. no fob, no payment.

Thats like me buying a house without a washer and dryer. Seller says they'll reimburse me if i buy one, and they never do.. Then i file a chargeback on Home Depot. lol... that would never work

Just to clear up a bit of confusion, the dealer I bought the second fob from is not the same one that's giving me the cold shoulder.....

In the end its not the cash, its the principle of the actions by the people at the dealership. Realistically, it doesn't matter where you buy a car, how they can start to ignore a customer trying to get something like this sorted out is baffling. Nissan Canada is looking into the matter, if nothing else I'll have it put on file against them.
