I've been keeping an eye on this particular thread- ** C7 Reported issues and resolutions thread ** - Corvette Forum

But there isn't anything that would scare me away from buying one.

MJB, You're a braver man than I.

For me, 102 pages of issues and paying $60k plus, is not something I'm willing to do. As mentioned in my post, I believe GM will work out most of the kinks in due time. Until then I plan on keeping my $60k invested and possibly purchase the C7 in the year 2016.

Well, I tell you what... I will never buy a C6 Z06. That was the car I was looking at before I bought the Nismo... lets just say after I did some research, I changed my mind real quick!

Just be happy our bail out money for GM that we the tax payers paid to have the wonderful corvette. I still have a bad taste with that fact on buying anything especially at that price range from a company that about went belly up. GM has to step up for recalls because they have to.

Corvette is very unreliable compared to Z. But you get a 190mph supercar at a premium car price. It's a trade-off.

I would get the new Alfa 4c out of both of these cars...the more I see videos on the 4c the more I fall in love, that car is sex on 4 wheels truly a poor mans Ferrari so tempting.

Reading this stuff makes me wonder how many of you have actually driven all or even most of the cars being thrown around.

These threads are pointless, every car has its ups and its downs and its own distinct style.

My neighbor go a c7 a few months ago. It is a garage queen. Think it's been driven maybe a handful of times. But it is a beautiful looking machine.

I sold one today with the new 8 speed. The thing is a total beast and well worth the 72K MSRP. It was a 3LT Z51, so loaded.

Cool, how well are they selling?

And for a second I thought that C6 had Nismo wheels... lol but I remembered the GS wheels look like that.
