z or vette

Bought a 2013 touring coupe magma red. Had it a year and have 1200 miles on it . having it shipped to Naples in fl. At Christmas in a enclosed trailer. Will be living there permanently next summer. My question , I love corvettes . iI need a reason why I shouldn't trade it in for a vette:driving::driving:. I also love the z. . I'm confused.

flip a coin,

best 2 out of 3 wins.

OP, are you talking about a C7? If yes, then I would trade the Z in a heart beat.

Buy a vette so you can have both?

Is the c 7 top of the line. Like is it the most expensive vette.

C7 is the newest generation that just came out. But the C7 Z06 is about to debut soon, which is the top of the line Vette at the moment. Still, even the base C7 would blow the doors off of a Z.

Thought I was in the wrong forums for a second, didn't remember joining a vette forum.

Z all the way.

I really don't like the vette personally, except for the much older ones.

Vette!!!

brucelidat 09-25-2014 12:15 AM

If cost is not a concern at all, then go with the vette. The vette is obviously a better performance machine than the, but ti also costs a lot more so it just depends if you can and want to afford it. This is assuming we are talking about a c7 of course since from what I've read, you'd be going a lot cheaper in terms of interior quality as well on older ones, though a c6 z06 i still beastly.

I'd go for the vette. But as a full time college student, I can't afford that. But I heard the vette has a lot of small issues. Even though it's a great performance car, I personally think it's poorly assembled. I know for fact our Z is going to be much more reliable than the vette. After all, the Z is made in Japan.

The new 'vette is turning out to be kind of an unreliable hunk of crap.

Fast, yes. Pretty, yes. But it's shown engine failure and other issues in several magazine tests already ... that's not exactly a good sign.

NoLaKrewe 09-25-2014 02:10 AM

Z all day, the Vettes quality isn't too good atm. Fast sute

Tick64 09-25-2014 02:18 AM

My vote is for the Z. Vette screams mid life crisis. Not a fan of it's asss end either. Yes I know it's faster.

OP how old are you if you don't mind sharing.
2nd question whats your priority why you want a sports car?

sunkist350z 09-25-2014 02:38 AM

As much of how I love the new styling, interior and performance of the new c7, the thought of owning a GM car which totally turns me off, especially the fact of the amount of recalls and GM is not allowed to sell 2015 untill all recalls are rectified.
