Why would you go Boss 302 if you stated that you see mustangs all the time in your neighborhood?

There will be a learning curve on any vehicle, correct. The thing less experienced drivers don't get is how much faster things get out of hand with a powerful rwd car. If you end up with anything with a lot of power, leave it stock. Mod the driver. AutoX and track days, not performance parts.

Tire Rack Street Survival School You take your own car and learn the limitations in both wet and dry, at speed. The instructors are cool and they will love that somebody shows up in a Z. There might be some wrestling matches to be the instructor in your car. A quote from their home page .... "The primary emphasis of Tire Rack Street Survival is a 'hands-on' driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them." It's $75.00 and worth every penny.
