**Ridiculous!**

I wouldn't call it ridiculous. It may look a bit tacky, but at least it's functional. It's a Z, not a $250 000 Ferrari.

You'd be surprised...Some roads are great...But after winter the roads are so torn up from plows and salt corrosion that driving down the street sometimes can feel like dodging land mines.

I've seen many bent rims....(none mine luckily)

You would take your Z to a place that has enough snow to ski and board?

If you mount everything correctly that shouldn't even be a concern. The rack is solid and with a Yakima rail mount you could take your Z + bike to a track day and it'd be totally fine. You might get kicked out, but Z and bike would be fine.

I'd be too worried about scratching or some other "accident."

For anyone to put this kind of thing on a Z needs to sell their car and go to straight to Daewoo dealership and get a little cheap Korean car and put on their brown cardigan. Seriously what type of a person would do this to this car? It's like buying a Ferrari and put one of those stupid trailers on the back of it. these people should not have bought this type of car in the first place. OMG there are some sad buggers out there.
