They can deff charge more but I'll take that C7 over it anyday as a car I wanna own. Naturally aspirated reliability compared to the FT-1's two electric motors and turbo 4 along with some super capacitor setup. Cars beautiful but sounds like it gets shipped to nasa when it breaks down.

Nissan never disappoints with their sports cars. I think nissan is underrated when it comes to this. This is the company that was behind all the Z's, the skylines,180,240's and the GTR. The R34 is paul walker approved yo . So the z35 will no doubt be a beast.

How can you blatantly copy two completely different cars at once? Sure there is similarity's but honestly I think the FT-1 looks as good if not better than both of those.

In essence I think Nissan made their statement showing that Nismo is nothing more than a badge and extra income potential for them.
I couldn't agree because it's way too soon to make that analysis in my opinion. There's only 2 new brand Nismo's. The Juke Nismo and Nismo RS which is considered the best handling CUV in it's class and the 2015 Z34 Nismo. The major upgrade aside from seats and bodystyle is a suspension tweak for improved track performance. And we have no data to ascertain whether the tune will improve performance. A good suspension tweak can shave seconds of a track time without a power bump. Remember, the lifespan of the Z34 is short now. If the 34 moves around the track quicker on a suspension tune only? It will be a sign for things to come in the 35.

The Nismo is also getting an automatic with improved gear ratios. This is another method to improve acceleration performance without boosting power.

I think the Juke Nismo proved itself for what it is... A compact FWD/AWD CUV for $27k'ish nicely equipped. I'll reserve my opinions on the current 34 Nismo till it's reviewed but... My prediction is this Nismo will be a moderate but significant step on a long road of improvements over the next 3 or 4 years.

The Nissan Z has always been regarded as a capable and sport-bred performance car, but the next-generation car will shift its strategy slightly to stand apart from other performance nameplates. According to a recent report from our colleagues at Motor Trend, the upcoming Nissan “Z35” will go in a new direction that will bring changes such as a hybrid drivetrain, a retractable targa or T-bar top, a 2+2 passenger layout, and an elevated STICKER PRICE.
Motor Trend reports that the Nissan Z35 product planners perceive the current sports car as “lacking street cred,” and these strategy shifts will give buyers a reason to give Nissan the nod over other performance models like the AUDI TT, Porsche Boxster, and BMW Z4 (or future BMW Z5).

While the current Nissan 370Z (pictured) uses a powerful 332-hp naturally aspirated V-6, the word is that the next Nissan Z35 sports car go the way of the future and switch to a smaller turbocharged four-cylinder engine and hybrid-electric power. The gas engine in question is the Mercedes-Benz turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine, making 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, which is currently at work in the Mercedes-Benz CLA250 and Japan’s Nissan Skyline 250GT (known here as THE INFINITI Q50). Another version of the Skyline, the 350GT hybrid, combines Nissan’s 3.5-liter V-6 with an electric motor for a total of 359 hp and either front- or all-wheel-drive. The Nissan Z35 hybrid system would be a parallel system, positioning the electric motor between the engine and transmission. At the top of the Nissan Z35 line would sit a 329-hp V-6 model.
Nissan and Mercedes-Benz have been collaborating on engine development at a shared Decherd, Tennessee assembly plant as well as a new joint manufacturing facility in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Currently under construction, the Mexican factory is planned to build vehicles for both INFINITI and Mercedes-Benz in 2017 and 2018, respectively. The Nissan Z35 retractable-top hybrid sports car is predicted to premiere in early 2018 with a starting price between $50,000 and $60,000.

yea I dont like 2+2, the main reason I'm even interested in a 370 is cause it only has 2 seats. Tired of hauling people around
