Default Got hit this morning...

Never thought this would happen, but, it happened. A lady didn't see the traffic stopped ahead of her and hit me from the back going about 20mph or so. There are two small dimples and an indentation of her license plate on the lower part of the bumper. I don't see any other damages. I will have a body shop check it out and provide her the quote.

Sorry to hear that man, this is one of my fears as well. You can never trust other drivers with crappy cars. (Or any car in that matter).

That might be the best post in this thread yet! If I were in this situation, I would definitely give them a call.

Wouldn't mind an aftermarket bumper, but, I doubt the damage is enough to get me one.

I'm surprised as well. Will see what the body shop says.

yah, maybe it's because you drive a MT and probably only was braking very light while at a stop.

anyway, i got hit from behind at a parking lot a long time ago in my old car and since then, ive been VERY paranoid about getting rear ended...

there are times when i see a big bump coming up, but there is a car following behind me.... i dont slow down as much as i want to before taking the bump as i fear the guy behind will rear end me. it's a trauma..really.

Most likely 'cause she said that she didn't see me stop. How can you not see a freakin' traffic stopped in front of you in a stop-n-go traffic?

Very possible that the bump pushed me forward preventing major damage.

Someone rear ended me as well. Scratch with imprints. I didn't need a new rear but it was a grand to fix it.

And I'll be the first to say it.....
