So, the estimate for repair is around $1000. Should I go with an aftermarket bumper? How much cost am I looking at to get an aftermarket bumper, have it painted, and installed?

i suppose if you plan on getting the rest of the kit for the front bumper, sides, etc. ... but that wont be just $1K

that said, if you're not planning on adding any more bits, get the stock bumper. authentic fitment > most aftermarkets.
