blue paint spec on 3 of my OEM wheels..

I noticed that there is a blue dot of paint on 3 of my wheels anyone else notice the same thing? what the heck happened? Note that the spec on

Default blue paint spec on 3 of my OEM wheels..

I noticed that there is a blue dot of paint on 3 of my wheels

anyone else notice the same thing? what the heck happened?

Note that the spec on the bottom left* of all 3 pictures is not on the rim,
its on my iphones camera lense.

normal, I think it has to do with balancing them at the factory, they have been on the Z since 2002

yup it be normal have them on the G as well is is for balancing. You can pick it off if you are carful.

blue = heavier spot for rim

red or yellow = heavier spot for tire



so they mount the tires with spots opposite to each other

is this only on oem wheels? I have never noticed them on aftermarket. On tires they are there but that is really good info! now I can go check to see my dealer mounted them correctly and for future reference as well.
