I got this one and really like it, only downside is I have to take off my V1 to put it up. There should be a coupon code in the thread also for a few bucks off.

I've been using the Axius Magic Sun Shade that I have had for several years. Actually fits very well in the front windshield of the Z. The plasitic ring conforms to the shape of the window well and provides excellent coverage. It folds up into a plate sized disk. Costs only about $15 at the auto store.

I have that one also and i have the country joy craft radar mount (Custom Made Connecting Mount for Radar Detector on 350Z and other Cars) and I never have to take down my Escort to get the visor up.

I have the same mount, but the V1 sits lower and is bigger than the escorts so it will not fit. It is very close though, if I felt like forcing it just a little bit I could do it without taking the V1 off but in the end it is not a big deal.
