Just got done changing out my winter tires. Purchased Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 and so far love the grip and how smooth of a ride it is.
Also since I had my wheels off, I decided to paint the 'nismo' on each wheel to make it a little different. I think the small detail adds a lot to the car.

I will post pic of whole car after I wash it.

Been enjoying the random backfires of my Z, twice tonight on the way home from work. One of which ended with a nice yellow flash that I saw in my mirror! Nice.

Tried twice today to remove the OEM shift knob, without destroying it. Holy fook! It is super tight and I was not able to remove it. So frustrating. Going to try a couple of other methods before I bring out the C-4.

I've heard one of these strap wrenches and a microfiber towel work well.

I tried that method, it did not work for me. I must be one of the lucky winners of the 'sh!t load of loctite' from Nissan awards.

I tried this. Twice. The wrench broke against the power of the shift knob. Twice.

I used an oil filter strap wrench with my large ratchet and a set of large vise grips to hold the shifter. Unscrewed pretty easily,

Thanks for asking and offering. I haven't attempted it yet as I am enjoying Easter Sunday with the family. I will try again real soon as the new TK Hebi Bebi arrives tomorrow.
