Wasn't really bad at all. In fact because it's pearl white you couldn't really tell unless you were looking. Only took a day for it to be done. I got caught in three hail storms. THREE!

Well, I changed the thread coloring of my stitches (White to Red)
I think it looks amazing, the pictures do not them justice
( Click to show/hide )

It took me a couple of hours as I wanted to do it well.
I used the elmer's ultra fine acrylic pen. Now available on amazon.

Disclosure for those of you whom may want to do this:
It is a bit difficult to use as the tip tends to clog up, so have a fine needle ready in case this happens to you.
Do one stich at the time and do not rush, otherwise you might paint the outer edges by mistake. (Slow and steady wins the race)
That is all guys and if you decide to do this arts and crafts project, best of luck.

^when doing the painting did you notice that the stitches look more silver/grey rather than white? When I looked at mine up close that's what I saw. Just curious.

Well yes, it used to be light gray/somewhat whitish, but regardless of what the actual color was, I thought I could make it better.
I am happy with the overall result.

Oh, I agree. I think it looks good too. I was just curious.

Changed the oil on my Z and measured my brake pads front and rear. I still have 7mm in the front and 6mm in the rear on the original pads and I have 27k on the clock. I also did a under hood and under vehicle inspection.

A beautiful, 3 day, 850 mile trip through western Montana and the Idaho panhandle. Two lane mountain roads with the top down and a great concert in Sandpoint. A great week-end. Now comes Monday.

Washed the Z. I love the way SR looks when the sun hits it.
