Started my stereo install. Everything is here except the subs, which I had to change the order for a third time due to incorrect inventory. So there's a pair of JL 8W3v3 coming in about a week. St least I can get everything else set up in the meantime.

A pair of tires showed up this morning too. I'd pieced together a set of RE11's by getting the fronts from one place and rears from another. So I now have a set of fronts in my garage ... EXCEPT they sent me Firehawk Indy 500's instead :(

Today makes it two weeks that I've had my Z. Just got the windows tinted today.

Decided to just see what happens without the traction control on...

Took a nice slightly banked 90deg turn under stupid braking entering (love how this car can late brake, unlike the wrx), was in manual mode, 2nd gear, did a a perfect 2nd gear power slide drift from just before the apex without breaking the double yellow under full throttle. It was just beautiful!!!!!!!! (there were even a few trophy wife/stay at home n look good blonds walking, they all turned n looked in my rear view...will never happen again!!)

Finally learning this car after 2 years of ownership! Has much higher and more controllable limits than all of the online "reviews" make it out to have. Was on blacktop, not poured concrete, which it seems has more traction but is uneven and trips up the traction control (who the hell programmed this???)

By the way: First set of tires that's lasted me over 12 months in my past ten years of car ownership! Michelin Pilot Super Sports = Well worth the $$. I think I may actually get 2 years out of these.

Other than that, life is boring, got turned down by the hot blond chick next door :-(... and a stupid Prius driver actually thought he had a chance at out cornering me on bicycle tires this morning.

Don't move to Portland if you're a car enthusiast, unless you like being miserable.

Do they realize that car isn't "peppy" or anything? I'd love to take a prius driver for one ride in the Z and show them that while they may save $40 a month, they're making themselves miserable in the process. It's like "I'm going to take cold showers every day to save the planet..."

He balances it out with his 6.0 GTO but still, that's besides the point haha

That's Diamond Head in the background, considering whitewolf is in HI, not so unusual at all. Great pic.

Installed Z1 CNC wheel spacers today. 25mm front, 30mm rear on 09' base 18's. Not lowered yet, but Teins and an SPC camber kit are on the way. Happy with the look. A little poke, a nice and aggressive stance for the stockers.
