Default Big Bend race in Texas

I was reading my April Texas Highway mag and this event was listed(too late this yr ) There are different divisions and I believe it is a timed event. Goes from Ft Stockon to Sanderson and back about 110 miles. I see many members listing Texas as home on this forum. Here is the site Big Bend Open Road Race

Interesting and news to me. Still an 8 hour drive for me to get there.

I have read about it, and visited their website. The website is hard to find lots of info, like rules requirements. Sounds pretty strict. Lots of real racing requirements. But, seems very well run and safe. Different classes for different speeds. You are not suppose to exceed the speed of your class. I saw some cars up to 196 mph. I even saw a Ford F150 listed in the results. So ??? Anything goes???
510 miles from Houston! Whew!

A buddy and I were talking about doing this this within the next few years. It's definitely a bucket list item.
