my wife is the boss cuz she controls the fun hole. But seriously. A marage is about give and take. Do I go around doing whatever I like when ever I like cuz I am a "Man". NO not at all we make decisions about what we are going to o with our money. I work she works and eventhough i make 4X what she make we both get an equil say. Funny thg is we both know that the other can do whatevery they want and neither of us would give a damn if one showed up with a new car with out talking about it. But we both respct eachother enough to not do that and know what the meaning of sharing your life with someone is. Not just married for the cooking and sex from her and your pay check to her. ( Whores are cheeper you should not have married)

I think you people need to take a look at my original post more closely. It is filled with evidence that she and teh kids are well provided for and wanton for nothing. I never said anything about doing whatever I want to do just because I am a man. I plainly stated that I have not allowed myself to give up my paycheck to the person in the marriage that DID NOT EARN IT.

I never said I didn't respect heer or that I make all the decisions. I said I retained my right to wear the pants in the family and make the decisions because I am perfectly capable of it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in buy myself something for all the hard work I do as long as all the bills are paid for and no one is wanting.

So how about all you ball-less and jealous folks quit taking what I said and twisting it all up beyond what was really said.....or else enroll yourselves in a good 1st grade reading program and learn to read.

Oh really??? Let's see....

1. I bought her a $250K house.
2. I took on raising her 5 children all the way through to their adulthood without a penny of child-support from their real fathers.
3. She keeps her paycheck and doesn't give me a penny of it to help support the household.
4. I bought her in 2005 a new 2005 Mustang GT.
5. I bought her in 2006 a new 2006 XTerra when she said teh Musatng was too much power for her.
6. I take her out to dinner 3 of the 7 days of the week.
7. I give her a $250 gift certificate at Penzones every birthday so she can spend it on herself there in any manner she wishes.
8. I pay ALL the bills in the household so she doesn't have to pay a cent.

I would be glad to hear from YOU how that is treating her like a commodity?

I think i was incon text and what choker chain.

The wife and I owen a 2009 FX50s AND A 2009 g37s, and live in OUR 750K home on a lake. WE enjoy the finer things in life and all this with 100% joint bank accounts. WE rarely talk about how much money WE make unless WE are looking at a large purchase the WE see what WE can afford. But the time WE spend TOGETHER is what mkes OUR marage not what who makes and what gifts we got last from the other one. (unless that gift was a nice massage with a happy ending lol) WE love to hike and camp WE have things in common. Your view is you pay the wife to clean and cook and sex. and she just gets the allowance you give her.

wow man. whats the whole point of getting married if its still a my/your relationship. I thought marriage was supposed to be an "our" type relationship....no boundaries, etc. mutual respect, making decisions together and all. I mean...I dont get ur whole relationship, but I have never been married...so maybe theres something im missing.
