Default Z for the wife

We, my wife and I, brought a Black 370Z Touring to our home last night.
(A/T, Persimmon Leather, without Sport Pack)

Invoice plus $1,500 without any fees.
I think we had a decent trade-in value too.

BTW, can anyone tell me how should I break-in the new 370Z?

Thank you.

1500 miles of driving under 3500 rpm and flucuate speeds. Not constant speeds.
Then do an oil change at 1500 miles and then follow the routine maintenance Nissan has.

Be advised that you should break in your car based on how you plan on driving it - if its gonna be DD / not so spirited driver then the above method should work just fine. However - if you want to you may read up on breaking in your car for performance ... Generally speaking for mine - I kept it under 5k rpms for 1k miles varying the crap out of the RPMs and never driving more than 30 mins at a time. Oil change at 1k miles and 2k miles. I redlined the car once out of the dealer and once every 500 miles till 2k.

there's so many ways, most probably we don't even have to break in but it makes us feel better doing it. my way is more traditional i guess..

Most people will tell you break it in how you are going to drive it. Some say that if you are going to race or track a car then drive it like that out hte gate. Some have claimed that their car will make more power if you are hard from the get go but other will say it won't last as long. I've seen no actual proof one way or the other.

IMO.. the published break-ins from a manufacture are written by lawyers to cover their own asses. I suspect that with todays build processes and tolerances that there really isn't too much break in that is needed. I, however, sleep better knowing that I took it easy on her for the break in period and followed things by the book.

Thank you everyone for the kind greetings.
I'll try to get picture of the car (and possibly my wife) soon.

I didn't even worry about breaking mine in, I'm not planning on having it longer than the warranty period.

Talking Picture attached

Greetings to all:

Due to not-so-popular demand,
I found a picture from the night we picked up the Z.

Salesman was explaining the car to my wife.

Other pictures were useless because of my poor photo skill, and eh.. it was dark.
We'll take short road trip this weekend, and I'll update the photos of Z in the sunlight.

Enyoy your day everyone.

PS. Sorry to post picture as attachment, but I don't know how to add image.

Photobucket is what use to post pics. Just insert IMG tags.

Good pick!!
