now imagine putting a cf splitter on the front. then it's probably near complete.

ok just got home. I spent the whole day helping Nissan hanging out with my friends from Nissan. I got to help debut the car and then rode in it and went on some photoshoots with it and the other NISMO GTR and JUKE RS that was there.

I got some real time with the car today, so If anyone has any specific questions let me know and I will try to answer them

Is the front Nissan emblem embedded in the front bumper like the current Z'z? Or is it just sitting on the bumper like the 370z emblem on the rear?

Thanks for doing this? Taking you up on your offer to take questions.

What brake improvements/changes?
Changes to tuning/power/torque?
Did Nissan talk about how much it weighed?
Changes to the driveline? Diffs, clutch, tranny, gearing?
Drag?

These are my questions as well. This NISMO talks the talk... Will it walk the walk...

Noticing the wheels. They may be substantially lighter than the outgoing wheels. But I'm sure whatever weight was lost externally was gained internally with the nav.
The base/NISMO seats were exxtremely light. Did we get brand name seats that are heavier? Hope not. At least they are competition certified.

none to my knowledge

Changes to tuning/power/torque?

same as the current NISMO 18 hp gain on the standard car from the same exhaust and ECU tweaking

Did Nissan talk about how much it weighed?

no and that figure was left out of the specs. i would guess its very similar to the current car. the body work and the seats may move last years numbers around a bit but there wasnt anything I noticed that was geared purely toward weight savings other than maybe the thin backed recaros. they do have all the electrics added back so they could come in again similar to the current seat. so bottom line if there is any its marginal as under the skin its the same car mechanically besides a retuned suspension

Changes to the driveline? Diffs, clutch, tranny, gearing?
Drag?

none of that was mentioned so I assume its a carry over from again the current NISMO. the final drive ratio of the auto is different than the auto on the non NISMO its. 3.692 vs 3.357 and they are claiming the acceleration is quicker to 60 in the Auto

wow so it's really just the ugly body work and new seats, nav package... like a vanity girly version... kinda.

The JUKE RS ones ( very similar to these except the RS actually have higher thigh bolsters and feel more like a bucket seat) are about 4K each. i expect these to be similar

they are both in essence a OEM version of the Recaro sportster CS you could buy the generic ones much cheaper if that was what you were after

the perfect seat would be a mixture of both...I like the color scheme of the Z better and the design of the Juke RS ones slightly better because the bolsters
