The one thing I hate about the Z

I'm just in a pissed mood right now and since you all are fellow owners I'd just like to let off steam here. I love my Z. At first I liked it, but as I learned how to drive it and respect it, it became more valuable to me as a machine than what its worth. With that being said, besides the mpg, I'm sick and tired of cruddy cars trying to race me everyday. At first I thought it was just california drivers, they just shitty drivers, however today was enough evidence of that by some weak fat piece of crud in a toyota corolla. Me being fed up, i sped up as he sped up, and obviously bogging down my car in second gear at 20mph full throttle, I was still able to speed up faster, get in his lane a car ahead and dust his azz, then go back in my lane at a stop light. I thought I proved a point, but no, he starts talking **** saying my car is slow.

I really love this car, I do. But I cannot drive this car, respect it like old man that fully restored an old muscle car, and just drive it with TLC. Just the fact I'm able to drive, and a awesome car.

But people, are ruining it so bad, I want to go back to my honda civic lx and just suck it up. Because I'm at the breaking point, of getting out of the car and wailing every person that harasses me on the street, as crazy as that may sound.

I'm not the copetitive type at all. Its a fist fight, or be on your way and take your little nose, and point it elsewhere in another persons business.

There, I bitched and complained like a puss. Sorry if this sounds stupid to you all, but just hoping theres others like me who dont want to waste their engines dusting shitty cars everyday. Because you dont see other sports cars acting like jack asses on the public roads

5. the last part of the thread cracked me up. you state that you hope there's others like you "who dont want to waste their engines dusting sh*tty cars", yet you sped up, got one car length ahead and into his lane, and dusted "his azz". (and btw, if you only got 1 car length ahead after full WOT throttle, you didn't exactly "dust" him.)
6. other sports cars don't act like jack@$$e$ because they don't care what other people think. if you're going to compare yourself to other sports cars who don't act up on public roads, what does that make you?
7. i know one day, the 370Z will become civic status, but after reading this otherwise b*tch fest thread, it's probably gonna be sooner than later. perhaps you should go back to your civic lx, at least then, you don't have to worry about mpg nor about your car being slow.

I know sometimes the brochure doesn't mean much, but still, isnt the 370Z faster?

I must know before the fast 7 premiere Thursday night, I don't wanna show up in a 370Z if it is slower than a Civic with a nice paint job and exhaust.
