I don't seem to have this problem... I've only had like 2 people try to actually race me. One was a BMW M5 doing pulls on a highway, the other was a base Z that was just messing around on a local road. Amazing how much distance a Nismo Z can put on a base model..

Nobody (not even the Honda and VW kids) bothers me to race even when I try to. lol Maybe it is a regional thing.

I get people every now and then mess with me still but I guess I either stayed the same or somewhat matured after this thread. I always like to use the method of leading on cars to make them think they are winning, and then before my turn or where ever I'm headed I dust them and go on my way.

What I love most of all is the cars that punch it at a light when we're both first in line. Vans, compacts, subcompacts, you name it. I've never had an actual fast car do that to me. I wouldn't compete with them anyway on a city street, but I think my gray hair is a signal that I'm not going to race a kid anyway.

yah, yesterday some dumbarse in a forrester took off like a mofo wanting to race and he nearly crashed in those s-curve expressway entrance ramps by himself.

i was waay back in the dust going 20-25mph with other traffic while i lol'ed...
them family wagons are faaAstly.

I didn't intend to make fun of the car, but I do realize it is not the fastest car. However, all I'm stating is that people ruin the fun out of the car. I dont want to be praised or looked down on. Its my car. Thats my HO. Nah lol. So basically i went here and started a thread of whiners and cry babies. Just messing with ya'll. But yeah, obviously **** happens so either i gotta just mature and ignore ****, or just be me. Know what i mean

Not really bashing, just a gripe about the car. I love my car but it is far from perfect.

I don't think OP said he hated his Z...he simply said it's one thing that he hated about owning one.

Not sure how you can hate your Z because it makes others jealous?

Edit: be thankful that you are able to own such a car, not many people can even justify to pick up a car with two seats limited trunk space and a low ride height etc.

Yeah man, I'm getting a lot of hate. The women make it worse. Especially when its someones wife and they see my car then see me in it. Its over. Lol jk, but not really.

Juet people at work mostly, then i gotta deal with people on the road, then i gotta deal with kids getting their greasy hands all over my car

And no its not my kids, i live in apartments and i wake up and go to work and it looks like somebody had sex on my hood almost every day but the hand prints are midget sized

I do agree with you i think you are better off with the honda civic it might serve you better. The Z might be to much for your personal taste.
