I don't get anybody wanting to race but I do get the Civics and other riced up Hondas blow by me, pull in front then slow back down to freeway

I don't get anybody wanting to race but I do get the Civics and other riced up Hondas blow by me, pull in front then slow back down to freeway speeds. I don't get it. I guess they like to pretend they beat out a Z.
For some reason, and it happens a lot, I'll come out of a store or something and another Z will be parked next to mine. I think that's kinda cool. Mine's the convertible:
