Same transmission. The SRM has an electronic sensor that "blips" the throttle on downshifts (when it's engaged). I rarely use it, but it is kind of neat.

The rev-match is more of an add-on, the rest of the manual tranny is the same.

The rev match is for people who don't know how to drive. Even if you get the sport, you will not enjoy having the transmission do the driving for you..

Haha. Ive driven both and chose not to drive the sync rev. Its my opinion. He asked. No need to call me an idiot. YOU need to shut up.

And what function does the sync rev serve other than to blip the throttle for you??? Get an automatic if you need it..

I was skeptical at first with the SRM, but after using it for a few weeks, I kinda got lazy...I wouldn't say I depend on it, but it's a great feature...I had no problem rev-match blipping with SRM, but this seems to be way of the future of sports cars...if anyone says "you cannot have this for a true sports car", I'd say, I guess F1 tranny and shifter are for p*ssies too...

How is the manual transmission w/o Rev Match?
It's the samething just that it won't rev match for you when you downshift.
I really don't think it matters cause not everyone here uses the S-Mode even though we have the sports package. Either way you'll love the z!

What's funny is that I'm sure 95% of the people who publicly hate on SRM either:

A. Don't have the Sport package.
B. Have the Sport package and use it all the friggin' time.

Grow up, people.
