My personal opinion is that an alarm with a pager is just a waste of money, and could get you shot over a Car. Most people hear car alarms nowadays, and don't even look, its so common to hear them honking nowadays.
If your car alarm has an ignition kill, it MAY be there when you return, your contents, however may not be. Serious crooks are quite savvy these days. If they want your car, it's theirs.
