:iagree: Reminds of a time at the bar, the horn wouldn't stop honking.

This can apply to pretty much anything you let a child do. Go to school. Hop on a bus. Play baseball. First drive. First date. Prom. First job they're late at. The night of their 21st birthday.

At some point you have to let them get out from under the helicopter.

Go back and read this thread, I have stated over and over that I have a tune on it that wont let him go over 4,000 rpm or 60 mph. Your family car wont do over 60? My car is fast but it's all in the high rmps, he can go much faster in him Altima than with the valet tune on my Z but thanks for the happy thoughts!

Again, Here's a pic of my friend's car. He was doing 60 mph!!!!!!!!!

It has NOTHING to do with speed.

He is a great kid and student (unlike me) so I couldn't say no. I don't have to worry about this one drinking, we leave him home for weekend all the time and have never had one problem and I have neighbors that keep an eye on him. Since the car is supercharged I have a tune on it just in case this happened (4000 rpm and 60 mph) but it's still my car with a kid driving it. I need another drink!

Make it two lol.

Yes but he could do that in is Altima also and you can't keep kids in a bubble their whole life.

Go try to drive your car fast staying under 4k rpm and 60 mph, my car is supercharged and it's still not fast with those restrictions. If you stomp on it it tries to hold the gear to higher rpms and it slams into the rev limiter then the car wont go anywhere. If you try to shift it with the paddles it slow to 60 and then it just wont do anything more.

I've done over 100 mph in his Altima, how is my car with that tune any more dangerous than his car?

You might miss the car but it would have never given you the memories you will have of these times! When he is driving himself you can always drive a sports car again if you want. It goes way faster than you think!

 This was not a one car accident. You cannot account for every other idiot on the road all the time. $hit happens.
