What was the first mod done to your Z?
 

Just something i thought of while reading and looking at pictures of different Z's. i was curious to know what kind of mod was first done/installed, how much it was (if you guys don't mind me asking), and maybe if you still have it or has been removed and why?

im a new Z owner and im looking to see what you guys did with yours. thanks:tup:

The first mod I did was to install VLED LED parking light bulbs about 3 days after I drove the car back from the dealer, but the first major mod I did were my Berk high flow cats and Stillen sway bars at the same time about a week after I bought the car haha.

Car's about 3 weeks old..waiting on HFC to arrive on Tuesday and first mods will be onWednesday..installation of CBE and HFC.

And grats on the new Z. :)

Are drop ins considered a mod?

Drop in K&N filters. They replace your paper filters with more breathable cotton ones. On the Z they work almost as good as the Short air intakes

berk exhaust was my first mod. fell inlove with the car on a whole new level after the installation :tup:

i dont really remm what my 1st was,i think intakes.

I removed the pinstriping. I've always hated that stuff...and I'm just continuously amazed that they continue to put it on new cars! :(

The next thing I did was install the illuminated kick plates.

Clear Bra and window tint.

You are right... if this is considered a "mod" this is what I did first then.

CAI about ten days into ownership.

Window Tints.

Tint, clear-bra, and NISMO exhaust all done at the same time.

My first mod was overhauling the sound system. Alpine speakers all the way around

First mod had to be the oil cooler. All the rest pale when you are beside the road in limp mode.

My modification order is in my signature. Performance first, looks second.

Shift knob

Berk catback. The OEM exhaust and sound is just so much schitt.

I went with Fast Intentions Exhaust, New tires and SPC Camber kit all in about 3 months.

Congrats on the new Z. Its definitely alot of fun.

B&M short shifter

I don't like to count tint/clearbra, but that's what I did first.

The first mod I like to count is my rear fog lamp. Still probably my favorite mod.

1. K&N drop-ins
2. Fast Intention CBE (would have been #1 but the wait was long)
3. PW JDM shift knob
4. Interior and rear plate LEDs
5. EVO-R rear fog light

Up next: LSD (waiting until the warranty expires though)

I ordered Coilovers the day after I got my z then switched to springs.

good list. i want to know where to order or get a good deal on the fast intention CBE. its nice.

why'd you switch from your coilovers to springs?
