My girlfriend won't let me drive fast in the Z. She doesn't like the acceleration because it scares her.. Is there a way I can make her enjoy it?

You have a somewhat serious problem there.

Just yesterday my girl and I were driving, and I was "racing" with a M5..I passed the mother fucker and we had this long turn coming up and thats where I had him. We were flooring it.

Soon as we slowed down "OMG that was so much fun!!"

Thats when I knew I made the right choice with her :happydance:

See that's awesome. My frustrations came to peak when last night some DBag in an A4 was on my *** and then tried to race me and I just had to drive slowly like a grandpa so she wouldn't get scared.

In all seriousness, you have to get her to love the car too. You can't just go all out and expect her to be fine if she's never been in a car with you driving like that. If she won't come around, looks like you'll have to trade her or get another ride to drive her around in.

Negotiate some good stuff for not racing, " if you will not let me get my heart racing fast in my Z, will you try something else when we get home?"

Is she the vain or self absorbed type? If so, tell her girls in fast cars look hotter or get her to do a photoshoot with the Z to build up her love for it.

Let.
Her.
Drive.

Then you'll have a different problem ;)

My wife complains regularly about my Z only having one seat...

She likes it when I go all F1 Pilot in her Explorer tho.

I guess both of you were too blind to notice the quotation on the word racing. Or maybe you saw it and couldn't comprehend that I wasn't exactly racing, hence the quotes.

Here's the literal breakdown for you two seeing how you seem to be having difficulties:

I wasn't exactly racing. We were just driving faster than we were supposed to. The whole thing lasted, maybe, 10 seconds.

Yeah, either way it sounds like you were driving like a retard. Although, since your avatar pic looks like you stunting on the street, maybe that point is lost on you.

Rent an exotic and drive around a race track with her as passenger. Afterward the z should feel slow to her.

You don't have to drive fast to enjoy your car. Quite honestly I've been careless before and have gotten lucky. So I have to think really hard before flooring it. Well, boost is addictive, and I forget to let go sometimes. :P

Seriously though, as long as you're not pulling any crazy wreckless stunts with her in the passenger side, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I can take my gf to the canyons with the homes and she's fine
