BRZ or 370Z, which would you choose? - Scion FR-S Forum | Subaru BRZ Forum | Toyota 86 GT 86 Forum | AS1 Forum - FT86CLUB

"If you like going fast in a straight line - 370z
If you like handling and controlling the car, having fun on corners and breaking necks - BRZ "

"Japanese Mustang" is an interesting one too...

i hope you younger kids in 370Z's dont go out 'showing' them BRZ/FRS folks wat your cars can do, and getting into pissing matches.

it's really sad watching that stuff.

You will receive a biased response on either forum lol

i wouldnt mind having a FRS if it was for my dd. but the price + lowering and wheels, exhaust, id need to get to make it mine would put me over $30K. doesnt make much sense to me.

and too slow for my area to drive as weekend car. it would just frustrate the hell out of me.

TheGreatOne 03-13-2014 04:13 PM

Am I delusional for thinking they sound delusional? lol.

I think its hilarious that somehow, compared to the BRZ/FRS they think the Z is a straighline car and can't handle when the Z is praised for its handling, not sraightline speed.

But maybe thats the arguement to use when you drive the slower car? Thats what we do with the faster Mustangs right? lol :rofl2:

kenchan 03-13-2014 04:20 PM

yah, when companies boast about handling, it usually means the car is slow.

kenchan 03-13-2014 04:21 PM

"here is my daughter, she is absolutely gorgeous! "

means she is empty inside.

To each his own, but I think the FRS looks like crap. When you're behind one, the skinny tires look like bicycle tires. The styling is sooooo ricey imo. Altezza taillights in 2013/2014??? c'mon! That was sooooo 2000-2001ish. Plus, the profile of the FRS and its Subaru counterpart looks so "skinny." The vertical dimensions of the FRS look like a car from 10+ years ago, a la the 2000ish Celica. It looks like an "Integra competitor" albeit RWD, which is its only plus point imo. And lastly, the power is a joke for 2010+ standards. I don't expect it to have 350+hp...but at least 250 out the box, with its "Honda DOHC VTEC" esque "wuss torque" (6000+ RPM to hit peak).

Again, I'm not trying to flame. The FRS never grew on me.

I guess that means any BMW that's not a M-badge, or the turbo I-6?
