I have see a few of these being FI over 400 hp now, thats gotta be a fun car to drive...but no I would not.

I would not do that trade. Before I bought my z I test drove the hell out of one and was really shocked how slow it was. Handled great but red light driving sucks. Can't pull away from the pack. You will be depressed the rest of your life for getting rid of your z.

^^
Literally regret the rest of your life lol |
No I would not. While it's the Z is not as nimble, the Z can power out of a turn in ways a non-turbo FRS just dreams of.

I wanted to go from my 2000 Celica to an FRS. I waited for two years after seeing the concept to buy it. But when I saw and drove the final product I went looking for something else.
A) The styling was nowhere near the concept (and I know it never is). B) Might have given it more of a consideration if it was a Toyota, but not as a Scion. C) Did not want to trade a front wheel drive Celica for a rear wheel drive "Celica" (because it felt similar to my Celica). |

scion is marketed to the teen and early 20's crowd.
toyota is marketed to only geezers or people with bad taste. |

In the end, I decided to keep my Z. First, I prefer my Black over Red and second, I like the shape of a Z more than the Scion. Third, it was not going to be straight up trade and I would have had to shell out $4000 for the trade.
