Need suggestions on synthetic oil!!!

I have used mobil 1 for years and years and recently started using royal purple and i like it.

Uh huh. Why do you like it? Is it because with Royal Purple you get fewer catastrophic oil-related engine failures than you do with Mobil 1?

I just did mine, I used Redline Synthetic 5w30 and a Purolator PL14610 filter

FWIW, I use Mobil 1 because it costs $25 for 5 qts at Walmart.
