I don't really see any Z bashing, but I do see the patented the370z.com bashing response to someone getting rid of their Z.:rolleyes:

Why is it we jump all over someone who sells their Z?

Well, 2 weeks ago traded the Z in on a Murano for my wife. Sad thing is I don't miss it much.. yet. 2. The Touring package should be an option in the Nismo. That car is too nice on the outside to get in and be underwhelmed by a bare bones interior and +18hp. Big wheels notwithstanding. It was the #1 reason I didn't go that route. Maybe 100% of Nismo owners race them and don't need the options... I can't say.
3. Beef up/quicken the 7AT. 'Nuff said.

You guys are good people, so now I'm officially changing my status to LURKER. If I get another Z, you'll be the 3rd to know!

if they do that it's gonna cost more on the price, would you like to pay more..?? you want a decent sports car that cost 40k to have all those..??

bump in horsepower, then mod it, that's why people mod their car wisely to what they need/liking.

do you just drive straight?? while you're complaining the Z is not fast enough on a straight, why not praising it can corner better and it's fun to drive..???

After driving my dad's 03 accord sedan for 3 months. I hopped back in my Z for a short drive to warm her up and get the tires rotating.

I miss driving it so much, I don't even remember it being that fun to drive, I didn't appreciate driving it enough when it was my daily, thats for sure.

I had a smile on my face the whole time driving around my block, I even did an extra round just for the hell of it. That syncro rev match...

Wow... some of you need to improve your reading comprehension... A lot. I did not bash the Z. I got rid of it because it isn't practical for me right now. I had it, I drove it, I traded it in. Not much else there. And yes, if I were to buy another it would need to be improved over the current (as in the last 6 years) Z. Weird huh? Someone wanting new models to be improved over old...

Seriously, this forum has a real problem with jumping on people who have to move on from their Z for any reason. It's pretty weak. People's lives and priorities change, but god forbid you ever sell your Z. That's unacceptable.

im a dad with 2 kids. the Z is very impractical for my lifestyle too. i dont even consider my Z a "car." she is my weekend toy. same goes for my G. i dont drive them during the week, especially not in the winter.

like i said, the Z is an economy sports car, but never intended for the poor.
got more money? then dont buy the economy sports car.

the car is quite competent where it is at the price point. unless the op doesnt know how to buy a car at a good price or something and got totally ripped off.

i think nissan gave us a very fair price for the car. not to forget the shitty exchange rate japan agreed to sacrifice back then for the world. people take too much for granted. that is the point of my view.
