Well, so much for filling up like a NASCAR team at the pumps *long drawn-out sigh*

i personally use a method that i notice my dad use over the years that i find easier the the stant instant fill.
just stick the gas cap in between the gas pump trigger and jus sit back in the car if it's cold/hot out, or do other stuff like clean your windows, or go inside the store to buy cigarettes/junk food.
once the tank is full, the pump trigger does that pop thing and the trigger goes soft so the gas cap won't cause overfill anyways.

Mine hangs fine on the door lid. There is a short hook toward the bottom of the inside part of the gas door. I hang it with the flat side up so it doesn't touch the car... works fine for all of my fill ups :driving:

I did not know this... this is probably apparent from the one time (only time) I have filled up so far. LOL. I'll try to look that up the next time I fill up. Thx for the heads up.

ya it's a law in nj that you can't fill up ur own gas. i forgot about that a few times when i visited. i rather fill my own gas and also save a buck for tip.

You dont have to tip. And I filled my own gas...in my motorcycle :-p
