I think it is worth considering what is legal, what is reasonable, and the consequences of my decisions. I'm happy to hear my neighbors, but if their request isn't appropriate, I wouldn't do what they ask me to do. I just thought the underlying issues were interesting so I chimed in. Most of my post are worthless and a bit juvenile, so you shouldn't encounter many posts like the current one in front of you with any regularity.

Hey it gave me something to do for a min, but I've got to go pressure wash my house. Then run ten miles.. in the shower and get this...with the water running full steam.

I love TO fish and I live less than thirty minutes from the gulf of mexico, I just like big brother or azzhat neighbors telling me what I can/should be doing.

I agree and also take your comments in the spirit of fun and discussion, but you bring up an interesting point about fishing. I wonder what fish stocks would be like if we didn't set limits? Maybe that's a good limit?? Dunno.

Sorry if I came off as a d1ck, stupid neighbors just hit a nerve with me. One of mine threaten to call the cops because some grass clippings from my yard got blown into the street while I was still cutting. By the wind mind you, I didn't get the blower and do it just for fun though I should have blown it into her driveway.

I hear you, man, I flipped my lid when one of my neighbors anonymously left me a note complaining about my stereo. Then I got to thinking that this might actually be a problem if turned up too loud:

I was pissed, though.

Years back when I lived in an apartment (I know super close together) the police showed up at 1:30 in the afternoon on a saturday asking me to turn down my tv and surround sound. I said ok but how can i watch star wars with wimpy sound? He just shrugged his shoulders and said, "i understand what your saying but one of your neighbors called and complained so please just turn it down." Attachment 83844
