So my car is dirty and needs a wash

But my tree-huger neighbors will probably kill me if they see me washing my car during drought season. (two of them actually came over to make sure the car shampoo i used is safe for the environment :shakes head:)

So i am gonna stop brushing/flushing/showering for a week straight so i can conserve enough water to wash my car. Perfect plan?

totally worth it.

You and your Z deserve better, make THEM stop showering... Pricks! :bowrofl:

'd rather take shower daily and wash the car once a month, but that's just me

My Z has never seen a commercial car wash. I hand wash it myself. Use the 2 bucket method and don't let the hose water run down the drain when going over it with a microfiber mitt and some sudsy water. You can wash it without being irresponsible in this drought. And you can always tell the neighbors to STFU and MYOB :tiphat:

Move to Texas.

If you're under restrictions, I'm down with your plan..... If not, spray the tree huggers in the eyes with the shampoo, and wash her quick while they roll around in the grass crying out for help. After finished washing, wash the shampoo out their eyes for them, but be frugal with the quantity of water you're wasting.

They came to check if your car shampoo was ok for the environment?!?!?! I would've told them to fúck off.

You can use waterless cleaners or... No touch car wash

black_sedan 02-12-2014 06:12 PM

Eff that.. Take a shower outside while washing your car.

Sorry, but what you do with your water is your business, not theirs. If you are conserving other places in your home, so what? I figure a car wash uses maybe 20 gallons if you do it right. That is just a few toilet flushes.

Geesh, I truly despise liberals who think they get to tell us what to do, what to use, etc.

I'm bringing a diesel F250 to your house and I'm going to floor it until black soot covers their house

coolvans1988 02-12-2014 06:18 PM

Dang, they have control over you and telling you what to do with your belongings? What a shame.
