New 370z owner! Need some expert advice

The original post says he does not plan on racing the car. If that is the case, all of the mods seem to be for personal satisfaction....sort of like nuns

Nobody is going to see the sexy underwear. I mean how different would your car be with those mods and mine with the nice wheels and tint only?

Lol! Nuns and Victoria secret!

I like to do some spirited driving on the weekends and feel like I finally have an awesome car to do that. I think some of these tasteful mods everyone had mentioned sound great. I want the sound and a few extra hp.

So after hearing everyone's input it will probably do the

Hks hi power or legamax. I really wanted akrapovich but wow they are
expensive!

Motordyne art test pipes

A cold air intake that I don't have to remove bumper

I have also been looking at new tires. Car has 12k miles on it. Has the Bridgestone re050 I think. I am guessing they have at least 50% tread left. But don't really like the feel. Looking at the Michelin pss or Bridgestone s04.

Anything else you Guys recommend tuning wise or cosmetic?

Great forum, appreciate the feedback and help.

I've owned both, both are great tires. The pss tend to get the nod around here but I honestly feel like they both perform about the same. To me the s-04s win out because they're usually less expensive. My experience is based purely on spirited driving on public roads and I dd my car for some perspective. My recommendation is not based on track performance.

His will sound a hell of a lot better than yours for starters. The Z is way too quiet from the factory.

So I watched the YouTube of the installation of the fast intentions exhaust and listened to clips. Wow that exhaust sounds nice.

Also, what ideas for cosmetic upgrades? I like to do little subtle things that may stand out a bit but not over powering.

There's so many options..... Nice lite lip kit is always a complement to the body lines of the 370z

I'm not an expert but I do know a person who is on their second 370Z. They just traded they "full bolt on" 09 for a 2013. His 09' had Headers, CBE, Test Pipes, G3 intakes, lightened flywheel, UpRev tune and Pulleys... he actually track races his car (autocross and 1/4 mile etc) and he says this time all he is doing is K&N drop ins with post MAF tubes, and test pipes. He said the rest of the mods were a lot of cash for not a whole lot of gains. He was neutral on the UpRev tune due to warranty.

Congrats man! As for the hfc, I'd go with Fast Intentions RHFC since you ordered FI CBE already. FI HFCs pair with FI CBE is the best. Motordyne Art pipes are good too. They are slightly quieter than the HFCs but they are basically test pipes so you might have problem to pass the inspections unless you know someone.
