they usually keep the nice cars as undercover cars but if the judge orders the car to be crushed its crushed, regardless of make

no they crush cars with illegal engine swaps(not illegal motors like the SR20 but stolen motors) or street racing, i dont know about other states but in california you dont have to register a car with the state, as long as it is not on public property you'll be fine
