My local dealership currently has 2 in for similar issues, doesnt seem isolated to me, just bc 1 or 2 on this board have problems. Its the first year the technology is available, of course there will be issues. And if you havent seen any, give it some time.

That's not a problem thats how it works....

Moving the shifter over into the 1st/2nd side causes the system to give a pre-blip in anticipation of you selecting one of those gears.

If your driving in 6th Gear, drop the gear into Neutral going at 40mph while foot still on the clutch it will rev up to 4-5rpm waiting for you to pick a new gear.

If you let off the clutch it drops. I suspect its SUPPOSED to work this way.

Revving is normal.

On top of what the others have said, 3-4 having issues out of over 9,000 sold in North America alone is definitely "isolated".

I gotta disagree with your generalization. I have owned a dozen + new model cars and motorcycles without any issues. Then again I also stayed away from the Pacer. Besides, I am an engineer with 25 years of designing and implementing new technology without any "flaws".
Regarding the rev match or the rest of the car, I have not had an issue.
