if you're still into that heavy modding scheme, chances are you should probably stay where you are until you're satisified (or worn out), maybe even consider getting a sti/evo and play with that first before getting the Z. otherwise you probably wont understand why the Z is the way it is and might not enjoy the car as much. |

My friends have civics, one is build beyond your wildest dreams, has 15k in it. Another has an 11 second Neon...at the end of the day I am driving a Z and they are driving soup cans...no offense, there are good friends and co workers, and we all respect each others tastes and cars, the OE clutch sucks in the 370z, that is no joke. Im at 322 whp NA and really happy, boost is in the future, but IMO Slow Z>fast civic.

The 370Z looks 1000000 times better. It has that real sporty look to it. Yes it isn't the fastest car in the world, but you will be blown away by the looks and compliments that you get. People think my Nismo is a 60k car lol. You may have a fast Civic, but I can also SC a VW Beetle and have it blow Vettes out of the water. At the end of the day, again it's still a VW. If you want a Sports Car, get the Z. Like Joepro said Slow Z > Fast Civic. Girls will agree. ![]()

i work for honda dealership for many years, drove many si, nice car but there is not any comparison to 370 z from the look, the handling the 3.7 v6 engine etc.. etc..just different class.. when you drive a z you are driving a true sport car and best money you invested for what you get..
that vtech to me is a waste of technology, go get you a z bro you won't be diappointed, not a bit... i don't know how much you are trying to get for your trade but dealers don't care much about supercharged or modified cars, it can actually hurt your trade in value of the car because of reliability reasons..dealers don't won't to mess with that...your best bet is to sell it to individual as a private party who has interest on modified cars, that is where you can get the most money for your trade.. good luck Last edited by shawnski; 11-01-2013 at 10:28 AM. |

For FYI I have a southbend clutch and flywheel with zspeed CSC with helper spring and I'm happy... I'm also a Honda service advisor... I like civics but not as sports cars... Without way more work that our zs need.

When I purchased my 370, I kept my honda civic 04; I drive the honda so I can realize of how much of a good decision I made. The maintenance is more of course but your speaking of a sports car compared to a honda. Maintenance is not going to be where the cost comes into play, it's the upgrades. I've had mine for about a year and a half and already dropped over 5k into the car...it's a definite must, but I'd suggest to have a second beater car or something...
