It better be a turn that goes on forever, maybe an oval. Oh wait, you still need to accelerate

Many sequential turns (hence technical) was actually what I was referring to...

The EVO has a $17,000 traansmission stuck in it with an extremely advanced AWD system. There are reasons for the chintrzy interior. But that chintzy interior also affected my purchase to buy one new... I'd buy the twins or an Evo used as a beater track car. They aren't good new car values in my opinions and many other opinions... That's why in this world we have a choice where we spend our money.
When z owners say $29k for a FRS BRZ is because they wouldn't go without it being loaded.:tiphat:

Different market for different people. BRZ has a lower cost of ownership... cheaper to track... and seems to have a decent/cheap aftermarket for only being out for a short period of time. It was designed to compete with the likes of the miata group.

Is a 370z going to be an overall better car? probably... does everyone here want to feel good about what they own? maybe... does that factor into this argument? im sure... would I buy one over a BRZ? to be honest... no. Do people who care about interiors go for the BASE model (30k) 370z? no... so that comparison is somewhat mute.

As much as im sure everyone here has money to throw around... the price gap between mid 20s and low 30s can be significant. not to include simply the cost of tires, etc.

I personally would find a BRZ (probably used) and in the most basic form. and from there pile on suspension mods, maybe a turbo, and strip it down even more.

And if you want to argue about interiors... my DD is a 15 year old lifted Wrangler with no carpet which often is left out in the rain.

Note: also if you haven't noticed the sn95 I drive... not exactly known for its interior quality...

The only one really arguing is you man.... We mostly agree it's a good platform at least. I would buy one... The difference between me and you... I'd go used.... You'd buy new... I don't see value in a new brz. But that's just my opinion. It's not meant for you to get butt hurt and argue...

When I bought my Z in 2009 the only interior difference between base and touring were the seats and the door panel inserts. I specifically bought a base (plus sport) for this exact reason. I knew the stereo was coming out, seats eventually so I essentially would have been paying thousands more for leather door inserts.

I'm not 100% sure differences are still limited to seats, stereo and door inserts on the 2014 Z but I think so. Aside form the seats 90% of the visible interior is the same between base and touring model. So people who care about interiors on this particular car very well might go for the base, the difference is minimal, especially if you plan to put in better seats.

Ever hear of the nav option? Makes the interior look 1,000,000x better then that stupid cubby! Sorry guys who like it but I am not one of them!

lol... I have a cubby. Find it very useful... I liked the navi at first. Made the car look cooler in 09,10. &11. Now the nav looks cumbersome and dated. In the beginning I felt like something was missing there but never thought it was ugly. Now I'm kinda glad I have the funny since I'm planning on keeping this Z till the wheels fall off. I'm fine with my head unit controlling the nav instead.

Yea this spiraled, lol. I began despising the Twins, now after having some experience with them on a circuit, im on the :driving:bandwagon. Would i EVER buy one? Assuming my budget was $30k tops....probably not. Though now i understand why people do.

That's why I would consider it used.... Makes no sense at $30k. At $20 with 15k invested is is another story.
