Has anyone replace a transmission under warranty for noise and 2nd gear grind

A co-worker of mine just scheduled a transmission replacement with Nissan. He was getting 1 to 2 gear grind. They will replace the transmission under warranty. He's just waiting for

A co-worker of mine just scheduled a transmission replacement with Nissan. He was getting 1 to 2 gear grind. They will replace the transmission under warranty. He's just waiting for the tranny to arrive from japan IIRC. So, to answer your question yes.. is doable.
